KAZ JAMES

Kaz James is a unique DJ and producer with an Italian and Greek heritage based in Australia. He grew up in Melbourne and was inspired by his stepfather's diverse music collection, with a focus on jazz, rare groove, and house. At a young age, Kaz was drawn to the DJing skills of Carl Cox and other prominent DJs in the dance music scene. He began producing his own tracks and remixes and was a resident DJ at One Love Records, where his bootleg of Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" was picked up by well-known DJs.

Kaz's career took off as he was handpicked by Frankie Knuckles to open for his Ibiza shows and was chosen to be a resident DJ for Nic Fanciulli's "We Are The Night" party at Pacha. He has also produced tracks for Kelis and Macy Gray, while his love for house music remains at the heart of his productions. Outside of music, Kaz has opened a successful coffee shop chain "Shoreditch Grind" in London and also has a recording studio above the Old Street HQ. He is a popular DJ and has a Sunday night residency at Scorpios Mykonos and performs at various international events, including Coachella and BPM Festival.
