NEDD BROCKMANN
SPEAKING
FRIDAY
Run For A Cause
In a country as prosperous as Australia, why does anyone have to sleep on the street? It’s the question that drives Nedd Brockman to achieve physical feats that are hard to comprehend, in the name of charity. After moving to Sydney and seeing the rate of homelessness in the city, Nedd set out on a mission to raise awareness and money for the issue.
And raise money he did. In 2020 he ran 50 marathons in 50 days, and raised just under $100,000 for the Red Cross. Not to be outdone, in 2022 Nedd ran across Australia, from Perth’s Cottesloe Beach to Bondi Beach in 47 days—an incredible 3953 kms. In the process of this incredible feat, Nedd raised more than $1.47 million for homelessness.
At Human Kind, hear from the tenacious Nedd Brockman on his journey, his motivations, and his unstoppable drive.
